Happy Joes Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor

Do you remember this place? Walking in the front door one was treated to a very bright and exciting place to be. 5' inch candy suckers, malts, candy, Ice Cream Cones. Kind of reminded me of 'Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory'. Then of course the Pizza. They sold a 'Monster Pizza', I remember sold for $49.99. It was fit for an Army. It was the FUN place to be. You could have your Birthday Party there as well. After 'Happy Joes' it became 'Pizza Plus' for awile and then closed. Currently the building is home to 'Don Chesney's Airport Auto's'. It still sports the Red Roof like it once did as a Pizza & Ice Cream parlor many years ago. Long live "Happy Joes".

If you had worked at "Happy Joes" one time or other, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for Photo's of what it looked like when it was open. Please get in touch with us....Credit will be given on this web site for any info you may have.
